Award winning actress, singer, and dancer, Amra- Faye has entertained audiences around the globe. Her performances have won her three Vita Awards, the equivalent to the American Tony Award.

Amra-Faye's performing career grew unconventionally from the farmlands of her native South Africa to performing worldwide as murderess Velma Kelly in the smash hit Chicago, a role she has played with acclaim since 2001, which for the past 5 years has taken her back and forth from Broadway to London's West End, and this year to Japan, where she was the first American to perform the role in Japanese.

Other theatrical roles include: Footloose (Vi Moore), Grease, (Sandy) A Chorus Line (Sheila), Nunsense (Mother Superior), Peter Pan (Mrs. Darling), Viva Sun City (lead Performer) Elvis Las Vegas (lead Performer) Amra-Faye spent most of her early career writing and performing her award winning one-woman shows, including "It's Not Where I Start"(Vita Award); "Rouge Pulp"(Vita Award) and "Drinks on Me".

She continues to make star appearances around the globe such as: South African VIP Gala, Sydney Olympics; SPAR International (Sun City Superbowl); World-Cup Rugby Gala; Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra; as well as continuing international engagements in Cairo, Monte Carlo, London and Paris. Amra-Faye is proud to be a part of Broadway in South Africa, a performance outreach organization impacting on the healthy development of youth in South Africa.
