Gay Marshall
Gay Marshall played Diana Morales in A Chorus Line on Broadway, and originated the role of Grizabella in the French production of Cats. She created a one woman show, If I Were Me , which was voted #2 On The Fringe at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Her first show about Piaf, called La Vie lAmour, played successful engagements at The Great Lakes Shakespeare Festival, Daytons Victory Theater and The Missouri Rep.
Marshalls Fringe show, and runs in The Bakers Wife at Goodspeed, The Papermill Playhouse and The York Theatre led her back to New York, where she re-captured the attention of New York audiences with her performance in the Zipper Theaters revival of Jacques Brel Is Alive And Well And Living In Paris.
Charles Isherwood wrote of Marshalls role in Brel in the New York Times, To hear her sing Brel's despairing Ne Me Quitte Pas .is to experience Brel's art in its purest and most persuasive form.
